Welcome
I am an Afro-Latina writer from New York City. My work is inspired by magical realism, psychological thrillers, film noir, and my extensive travel experiences. After living in or visiting many places across North America and Europe, my sense of identity as an artist is greatly informed by being a world citizen.
My creative work stands against loneliness, dedicated to finding the common in the unusual. My biggest influences and inspirations include the works of Anne Rice, James Baldwin, Richard Matheson, Ada Limon, Ocean Vuong, David Lynch, David Lowery, Pete Hamill, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Nicole Blackman, and Christine Wiltz.
My work has appeared at/in SXSW 2024, the New York City Poetry Festival, ESTIA Creative Home, Narratively, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, great weather for MEDIA, No, Dear Magazine, City Lights San Francisco, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and many more.
Alongside my artistic projects, I freelance as a voiceover. I have featured on projects for PBS American Experience, Sound of Scripts Los Angeles, Sony Music Entertainment, BBH London, and others.
